Our team consists of partners Per and Jörg. You will notice that we work closely together, as we found that we complement each other well.

We often set out to meet our customers together, as we know that two sets of ears can hear more than just the one. We are experts within our field, and we believe in cooperation, among ourselves, but also between you and us.

Having WHITEWEAR as your business partner means that you do not depend solely on a single member of staff. We work as a team. We both know the details of your case and loop each other in e-mail conversations (CC). To ensure you receive a swift and competent answer, you may experience a reply from either of us.

One thing you do need to know about us: we know our stuff and are serious about our business, but we love a good laugh equally much! In fact, we like not to leave a meeting before we have either laughed together wholeheartedly or have poked a bit of fun at each other.

Meet Per Hundal

Founder and partner
I have received a commercial and clerical education and have experience in transport and the textile industry. Those years of experience from both sectors can be combined for my work at WHITEWEAR. I have worked for several textile companies, which has given me extensive practical knowledge of the materials used, and substantial experience with supplying knitted textiles to hospitals.

Meet Jörg Westerhoff

Partner
I was born and raised in the Ruhr-area in Germany. After the German Airforce employed me, I moved to Denmark, and I have lived here ever since. I am an experienced export salesman and have worked for a few different companies. Since the mid-nineties, however, I have primarily worked as a consultant for the textile industry; a job that has led me to travel a great deal in Asia.

I am your expert on woven textiles.

Meet Marie Carlsen

Sourcing & purchasing manager
I have a background in Value Chain Management and I previously worked in strategic procurement in the wind turbine industry. I am experienced within communication and coordination across  cultures and professions. In my daily work at WHITEWEAR I use my knowledge about procurement and value creation to strengthen our processes and supply chain.

Our story

Per Hundal established WHITEWEAR back in July 2011.

But the idea behind WHITEWEAR began taking shape back in 1995 when Per started to produce and sell knitted textiles for another company. He saw the potential in selling patient apparel, underwear, etc. to the hospital laundry rooms and specialised in this niche-area the following years until he founded WHITEWEAR in 2011.

WHITEWEAR was founded with a professional board, who – together with Per - plotted the firm’s course. As a first step, the company delivered knitted textiles, such as wholesale underwear, socks, and other patient apparel, to hospitals and their laundry rooms. The next step was to be expanding the product range with woven textiles. And this is where Jörg came in.

Expertise matters greatly for WHITEWEAR. And when it comes to knitted textiles, Per is an expert in his field. But he knew that if the company were to expand into woven textiles, he needed a reliable business partner on board; someone who could match Per’s expertise with knitted textiles. Per had worked with Jörg Westerhoff previously and knew he was the right man for the job. After all, Jörg knows everything there is to know about hospital linen and wholesale textiles for the healthcare industry. Furthermore, Jörg has a well-established network in the Far East. Fortunately, Jörg quickly saw the market potential and came aboard as a partner in 2014.

In recent years, WHITEWEAR has expanded its product range with staff apparel for hospitals, nursing homes, healthcare, and residential care, as well as workwear for the food industry. Here, the combined knowledge of Per and Jörg and their extensive network of competent suppliers comes into its own.

Today, WHITEWEAR is your one-stop-shop for staff apparel, workwear, patient apparel, cleaning cloths, wholesale linen, and professional textiles for the healthcare industry.
